This morning I was listening to Sebastian talking to Joshua and he said, "Did you know Joshua, when I am an adult I am going to be an artist and I am going to paint everyday!!" oooog man is was so cute.

I was planning to make the Veggie Lentil Burgers again today but then we had no bread or rolls in which to have them. So decided to try the Lentil Loaf instead. But had hardly any of the right ingredients for that. So I just improvised and here is what it ended up looking like. I loved it, the kids thought I was nuts.

It rained yesterday and the frogs that have been hibernating all summer have come out in their droves. You can hear them when you go outside. They sound beautiful singing in the night.
In the area you can see the rare Strawberry Frog, the endangered Cape Platanna and the Micro-frog.
Joshua got a new pair of crocs so he is happy again. The boys also received new sheep skin slippers in the post from Anita and they LOVE them. Sebastian even wore them out the other day in the hot sun as he refused to take them off. Such a sweetie pie !!

The boys went to the beach with a friend today. Joshua left his crocs under the bridge while walking on the beach, where he always leaves them. They got stolen, I mean who would have ever thought this would happen in South Africa.
Anyway when he got back to the house and saw me he burst into tears. He then relayed the story to me. Telling me he had a broken heart because he was so unhappy that someone had stolen his crocs. He was so upset he could hardly talk and sobbed all the way home from Y's house.
