Thanks to So Very Posh and OverLib
image Joshua has been asking to sit on the toilet so we got him one of those baby seats that fit on the real loo and he is over the moon. Loves it to bits that he is also sitting on the big loo now. image
I think that both the kids have chicken pox. Sebastian has 3 - 4 visible spots and is in a very unhappy mood. Joshua only has one visible spot and has scrathced it till it bled and is also very miserable. They are both in bed and fast asleep, no complaining there. I have an appointment with the doctors tomorrow for Sebastian and then we will see if its confirmed as chicken pox or not. My house is in a state, and I have a day off tomorrow but really need to do some work so may end up working all day and not even have a chance to clean.
We had a completely sleepless night last night. Sebastian just would not go to bed at his usualy 7:30ish and was still awake at midnight. Then this had also kept Joshua awake as he would not go to sleep. Sebastian was awake and standing up in his crib and jumping while laughing. Then Joshua got in with him and started to copy him and so we had them both hopping up and down. Finally T rocked Sebastian to sleep and laid him down but then when he put him in the bed he woke up and started crying. I then took him to the other bedroom so T could get Joshua to sleep. It took me about another 1/2 hour to get him to sleep and he woke up every 1/2 hour to 45 mins and cried. This went on all night, T brought a bottle of milk at around 4am and then he finally fell asleep at about 7am. Joshua woke up at 7:15 and demanded attention and T had to go down to work. I had to go down at 9 when Anna got here. I am now 100% pooped and much in need of sleep.
image Joshua taking Sebastian for a ride on the bike. Cut out the ugly background of my kitchen LOL.
We took a trip to Storybook Glen, just outstide of Aberdeen. It is a lovely place and let me tell you flipping huge. All sorts of story book characters to see and some real animals aswell. Its got loads of paths and ponds and bridges and acres to explore. The kids had a fantastic time.
I have been rather quiet for a while. I guess we all just go through a time when we do not feel in the writing mood. On top of that being busy and having 2 kids does not give that much time to be too creative. Of course its taken me 27 minutes to write these 3 sentences because of kiddy interruptions. And now its feed time, bathtime then bedtime and hopefully I will not be too pooped after that and I can do this properly.
Jamie's Blog I wonder if he really updates it or if he has someone do that for him.
Went to the farm with the kids. Is this not just the cutest baby you have ever seen. image More pics from the farm in the photoalbum
Well I finally made it am at Corrina's visiting. So nice to see my Mom & Robby again. Meeting went fine - just boring work stuff as per usual! The travelling is not so good however had a 1h45min train trip to get here and have to do it again on Thursday to get to the airport and then the plane is1h30 mins, but then at least I will be home with my babies that I miss so much. I just hope that I do not miss another milestone like I did missing the first crawl last time I was away. Last night we sat and watched my DVD that I made of the kids.
We took a trip today up Northwards - we were headed for Macduff as there is an aquarium there and we really wanted to take Joshua there to see the fish as he loves Finding Nemo and especially Dori. image Sebastian has inherited Joshua's bike (that was inherited from Cameron) and he loves it. We put new batteries in today and he just adores it when we let him ride.
image Well I have been superbusy today. Sorted out the boys room. Well converted it into a walkin wardrobe LOL Bought some clothes rails at Argos and put them up. The boys things are all on top and mine are on the bottom and T got to keep the original rail on the other side of the room. I just could not handle us all trying to live off of one rail and a shelving unit. Its so much better now. I packed away all the kids stuff that no longer fits. And some stuff that will fit but only in a few months. SO I am all organised again. Now its just to sort out "THE ROOM OF SHAME", as I call it, the other bedroom that I have all my boxes in and have still not unpacked. It's in a complete mess as Joshua goes in there and digs in the boxes and brings things out and then Tarryn chucks them back in and so its a big tip in there to say the least. But one thing at a time. I did manage to do 4 boxes, take the books out and put them onto book shelves and will continue with some more when I get back from Manchester next week.
It really does rain for 312 days of the year.
Well that time of year again when we can upgrade our mobile phones. I really want one that can take good pics so that when I post them direct to the site they are actually worthwhile looking at. But the network I am on at the moment has none worthwhile available for me. So I am thinking of moving networks - to Vodaphone - and getting the SHARP XG-30
Cheryl let me know there was an error with the comments. The little pic was not showing up. Until I have fixed it (figured out what is wrong) you will be able to post comments without using the little pic. Happy Posting!!
Yes yes I know all mothers say this, but my Joshua IS truley amazing. He has been allowed to play games on the computer for quite some time now and its always the same thing, you end up having to move the mouse for him as he just did not get it, have to restart the game or PC all the time as he clicks everywhere and all goes haywire, but then he is only 2 1/2 so that's okay. This week we got him a new Noddy game - it is aged 3-6 but I know he is Noddy crazy at the moment so I thought I would get it for him and sit and play it with him. image He has learned how to put the PC on and wait for it to boot up, too cute he sits patiently and says to himself "Wait.....Wait....Wait..." till its booted. And finally he learned mouse control, amazing. I then showed him where to start the game from the quick start bar so it only requires one click not a double click. He does it all on his own now - and amazingly even navigates the menus to his favourite activity and plays all on his own for hours at time. I though he was just clicking and not actually getting what was going on but this morning I watched him. He started the PC, then the game, navigated to the game where they show you some objects that you need to collect, then you have to drive a car, stop when a busser sounds and then pick up the object they showed you in the beggining and put them in the car, then drive on and at the end of the track match the objects to the shapes where the object needs to be placed. And he did it all on his own, I AM SO PROUD. My little baby is so clever.
