Now that Sebastian is mobile he and Joshua have started playing together. Joshua is taking notice of him and they have been interacting more and more. Today Joshua ran around the house squeeling with Sebastian in fast persuit. Sebastian was crawling around at top speed and giggling and screaming with delight as he chased Joshua. It was just amazing to watch.
To say I was busy today would be a huge understatement.
In other news - Joshua is still eating like a mouse with a food aversion. And Sebastian is eating like a grown up. SO the one is making up for the other in a big way just a pity ha cannot pass the calories on to Joshua.
Tarryn had his 32nd birthday yesterday and it was also Fathers day. I got him some great cards from the kids and some bath stuff and a nice new bath towel and some jocks (much needed). And he had the day off too so had time to relax and unwind. He was supposed to be off today also but one of the managers is ill so he has had to work tonight. He has also given up smoking again for the ummmmmmmmmmm well howmanyeth time I cannot count. We will see how long and lets hope it sticks this time but I am not holding my breath, since he gives up each year on his birthday, for Xmas, for Joshua's birthday, when his folks come to visit, for New Year and the list goes on........................
32 TODAY
Sebastian carries on the family tradition of eating DRY CAT FOOD. Eeeewww and now he has fishy breath.
He is not lightening fast crawling and the cat food is like a super magnet to him, just like it was to Joshua when he first started crawling.

Just sitting on a shelf. What a find - pity only 20 bags in the tin, but really nice and I can put one of these bags with a regular rooibos for Joshua's tea. Hope he likes it.

Cannot believe I have to babyproof my house again. Sebastian is now fully mobile and on a mission to ear and get EVERYTHING - starting with the cat food. He gets there in the blink of an eye. So today I have to try and sort out the lounge and put all things up high and out of his reach. Problem is our security gates are slightly too large for any of these doorways and the kithen has an archway that is about 2 metres and so the gates are too small for that. I think I could get one that fits but do not really want to spend in excess of £80 on it, and that is what it will cost. We already had to get a cabibet to put the TV and video equipment in as it was standing loose on a table and the table was rickety so the slightest pull and it would all come crashing down as it almost did on Joshua once.
So I have my work cut out for me today then tomorrow is paperwork and then I go into 2 weeks, yes 2 whole weeks of filling in for chambermaids holidays - OMG I am going to be deadmeat at the end of that. Of course its my favourite job in the world, I just love cleaning up after strangers ughhhhhhhhhh. That will teach me to not put an advert in the newspaper on time.
Ahhh well best get to my work.
Am a little stressed today, the person who bought my DELL laptop on eBay is claiming it has not arrived even though it was sent special delivery and post office has confirmed that it has arrived yesterday???
Well I am back. My overnight journey on the sleeper train was fast - very fast thanks to Nytol. We got woken up with coffee in the morning by the train attendant and both went back to sleep. Michelle woke up and looked out the window and we were in Aberdeen station, still in jammies and in bed and that was not the end of the line.
So I will be going away on Sunday morning. I will be taking the train down south with Michelle and we will be staying over with Nuch and Michael on Sunday night and then we have the course all day Monday not too far from there. Then we leave again Monday night on the overnight train, we had to pay an extra £30 to have berths - but I know I am going to want to sleep when I am on the train. So I may not take the laptop with unless I think I am going to use it on the 7 hour train journey OMG yes a 7 or more hour train journey. I will most likely only update the blog once I am home again and that should be Tuesday sometime.

Saw this on the internet and thought it was very good.
UPDATE: Found this on the site -->Had to take the pictures down because over 20,000 unique people viewed the pages (lots of hotlinking and got #1 ranking in the search engines!
P.S. I have a copy of the pics - email me if you want me to send them on - I am too scared to post them here incase I too get bombarded with bandwidth craze.
I was just sitting here this morning moaning about the price of tickets to go see my Mom. Started putting all I could on Ebay to get some cash to buy the tickets.
Then this afternoon I get a call from someone work related and I am told I need to go to Manchester for a course on Monday. And would you know it but they live not too far away from there so I am going to go down for the course on Sunday morning and drive down with the kids - sleep over at Corrina on Sunday night - do the course on Monday and then spend a week there before I come back and so the travelling is covered.
Yippppeeee yeeee haaaaaa - so I get to go see my Mom and she gets to see her granchildren and all is happy !!!!
Now I have all these things on Ebay that Tarryn will have to post out all on his own next week while I am away.
Julian just said I can't come as the house is too full with his Mom there so that is that I guess.
Mobile Phone Blog Changed the pic so as not to freak you out anymore.
Here is a sample home movie - its bloody large in filesize for what you get so I have done it in 3 sizes/quality. Of course the HIGH quality gives the best pic with the least jitters but you have to have broadband to download it unless you are very VERY patient or just plain mad.
Please right click the file you want and choose to save it to your machine. Or click on the file you want and wait for it to download to your player, but the wait could be a long one :).
LOW - 200x160 - (2,932KB)
MEDIUM - 300x240 - (18,371KB)
HIGH - 300x240 - (35,656KB)
It was taken at the Fleet Duck Pond in December.
This is in Real Media format so you will need their player to view these files.
Spent the whole day cleaning house today and cooked a delicious dinner too. We finally had to condem our microwave that we have had since the days of Lambeth North when we shared a flat with Shanna and Andrew. Well it has done us really well for all these years but finally the inside top of it has peeled in bits and pieces and food has gotten stuck inside and its been impossible to clean out and I am sure its unhealthy to cook with it like that so we chucked it out and replaced it with a new one from Tesco.
A few days ago Corrina posted this... to her blog. I have been wondering the same thing?
Welcome to the spring 2004 edition of getting to know your friends. What
you are supposed to do is copy (not forward) this entire e-mail and paste it onto a new
e-mail that you'll send. Change all the answers so they apply to you, and
then send this to a whole bunch of people including the person who sent it
to you.
The theory is that you will learn a lot of little things about your
friends, if you did not know them already!
Well after his stint at Nightporter Tarryn really is exhausted today. He only got to sleep at 9am this morning after being awake all night. I am off to do my weekly paperwork now and the kids are out with Anna so T can get some proper sleep. Problem is he told me I had to wake him at a certain time and I forgot when that was going to be.
The guy who is the nightporter tonight did not show up, so T and I are here sitting up with the buzzers on duty all f**cking night. We are watching a movie..........crieckie moses the buzzer just went off and it was sitting on my chest I almost died. Anyway T has gone down, thing is for security we have to lock the doors at nihgt into the hotel so when a guest arrives and wants to get in they buzzzzzz or if they are in house and need something they use the buzzer on the desk CHARMING.
I am sad today - my mom is no longer 6000+ miles away but only 600 miles away, but I still don't get to see her. Too far to go for a short trip and expensive. :(
It really is the flu - I have been taking hayfever pills regularily and that sorts that out but this really is the flu, runny nose sore bones and bad mood. Am going to wait till the sitter gets here and see if she will take the kids out to the park and then go back to bed for a rest and recharge - no work for me today, I have my end of week paper work tomorrow and I have been sent new forms to do it on so that should be fun learning to do it a new way.
Think I have flu or really really bad hayfever - anyway feel like crap. Took the day off work as the sitter hurt her knee and had to go to the hospital to get it looked at so she was not in. I had a friend of Joshua's around and that was hard work especially when feeling like crap and all. Anyway will update again when I have some time right now its damn late. :)
Another month gone by again and time for White Rabbits.
Joshua had his first day at playschool today. I had to work so I could not take him along. I was upset about that, but at least T got to go along and see him. He was fine and fitted in really well and enjoyed the day. Lorraine, one of the receptionest was there aswell and was on duty helping with the kids and she said he did really well and enjoyed it. He did us a picture that was a chalk pressing. Then near the end he realised there was no Dad or Mom and got a bit upset so they phoned us to come and get him and T went up to fetch him and sat in for the songs and the end of the class. He will go twice next week and then from the week after that it will be 3 times a week so we are building up to 3 days. Pic is of me saying goodbye as he was leaving to go.
