We had a sitter last night and got the chance to have a night out. Well we did not actually go to far, just donwstairs to the restaurant. I had invited all the full time chambermaids and the head housekeeper to bring their husbands for dinner and stay the night in the hotel. So T and I had dinner with them, drank far too much red wine, had a lovely dinner and loads of fun. It was a fantastic evening and they all had a great time. We met them this morning for breakfast.
We have a baby sitter who will be coming 4 days a week now so I will be able to work a lot more, thank goodness because with T spending the amount of hours in the kitchen that he does I have not been able to work as much as I need to, but now I can. We may even get to work the same shifts for a change and have some time off together which will be fantastic.
Annemarie did really well with the kids yesterday so we are totally happy and confident to leave the kids with her and we are after all only down the stairs in the building so she can call us at any time she needs us.
I have a busy few days ahead of me with people coming here for work stuff so I may be rather webinactive for a few days.
I found a TV in the general store downstairs and have borrowed it for Joshua so I have set him up in his room with TV and video machine and he is happily watching "Lilo and Stitch" and eating olives. He trots on through every few minutes to get a refill of olives or some juice. I may even get to watch something on TV tonight that I want to watch.
But now I have some work to do on the computer so must get started.
