Joshua started with a runny tummy again this afternoon just as I finished work. It got worse and at one point I was changing the baby and he ran off to use the potty, I could not follow like usual as I had Sebastian on the changing unit so had to finish him off. I heard Joshua fall and start crying, when I got there he had used the potty but must have not made it in time as there was poo everywhere in the bathroom and he had slipped on it and fallen on his way out. He was crying so I had to pick him up getting it all over myself and then Sebastian started crying as I had put him donw. Called T who was up in a minute to help me sort him out.
It seemed to get better later on in the afternoon as his tummy cleared up and he ate some bread but had a slight fever. We put him to bed after his bath and he finally fell asleep at about 10. T and I started to watch a DVD - first time in yonks and at about 11 Joshua came through to the lounge, he was all wet and had thrown up in his bed and it was everywhere. We sorted him out made the bed and gave him some rooibos without milk in a juice bottle, this causing him to throw up again. He is now on the sofa watching Nemo, he still has a slight temperature. I have to go to bed as I am on at 7am in the morning so T will sit up with him. I will finish early tomorrow and then we can get him off to the doctor if T has not managed to get an earlier appointment.
Oh...poor Joshua and poor Mom! I hope your house is healthier very soon.
Well he seems a little better this morning - I have had no sleep at all and fell asleep in the bath this morning and was late for work. Good thing I only have to go downstairs for work and not far away. Sebastian was winging all night - I think the sitter has not been giving him enough food in the daytime and so he is hungry at night, can't blame her really as he is soooo hard to feed. I usually get Tarryn to do it for me so I will have to get T to go do it for her too.
Oh dear I hope he is getting better now, awful to have a sick child. Its so great that you are right there and can be there to handle it all.
