Well let me tell you I got spoilt galore this year. And Tarryn did everything perfectly, I have trained him well and it only took 10 years. I got a card from the boys and a gift - they gave me a parker pen and a filofax for work. Click on image to enlarge. I got a card, a cake, a silver bracelet, purfume and chocolates from the staff. That was a total shock as I was not expecting anything from them. But it was really sweet of them. The most decadent toffee cake around. YUM YUM. I got a card and pink jammies from Corrina. 2 cards and lotsa biltong from Anita and family. A card from my Mom. Lots and lots of email wishes. I got a card and 2 photoframes from T's friends who came up to play music this weekend. And we were going to have to upgrade my laptop as its on its last legs so T managed to get a really really really good deal on one when he was away at his managers meeting All the peeps at headoffice are upgrading together so they are getting a good deal on them so he managed to get them to do one extra. So that will arrive tomorrow (we hope) - I have no idea what it is or what the spec is so it will be a surprise. But that is my pressie from T. And let me tell you it will be better than this one for sure. T think its an ACER Travelmade but not sure of the model number or spec. SO really a fantastic birthday I have had.

Went to see THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW last night at the cinema at the beach. It was a great movie in true Hollywood style. But as I am really really bad at doing movie reviews I shall leave it at that, besides I think you should see a movie with as little info about it as possible so that you can experience it for yourself with no preconceived ideas about what you will see or feel.

Went to see THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW last night at the cinema at the beach. It was a great movie in true Hollywood style. I finally managed to get the kids Weekly Photo Blog to list the thumbnails yearly so that there are not so many on a page at one time. It took me a while to figure it out and in the end it was so simple. I ended up using the categories as the year and then making a category archive and the archive page list the thumnails of each blog entry. Tarryn is away at the moment at the managers meeting somewhere down south at one of the other sites. So I am alone with the kids for 3 days. So far so good, I have had to work but Anna has been with the kids in the daytime taking care of them. I wish I could have gone with but I have no idea what I would have done with the kids so its probably better I did not go with anyway. T can sit in the boring meetings on his own.

My ISP upgraded their servers with a new version of PHP, and Perl and now the Recent Comments from the sidebar have stopped working :( I will have to look into how to fix this as its rather annoying, its the first thing I check on the site when I login. OH no just saw that the search button is also affected.

I actually got 5 full hours of sleep last night. AMAZING - Sebastian slept really well, in fact he slept from about 9pm till 7am but my body is so used to sleep deprivation that I was awake at 3:45am and coudl not fall asleep again. This only lasted for a while and I was asleep again in no time. It was just so bloody fantastic though to have a few full hours of uninterrupted sleep !!! I made sure to feed him up during the day time and give him his last bottle with a little baby rice in again and it seems to have worked, plus he is not on the SMA White (for hungrier babies), lets hope it keeps working.

After passing our Brand Audit last week, which was a fantastic achievment, I now find myself with mounds of work again. I must take an off day sometime too. But since its my policy not to write about work related things on here I cannot say. Just it was a good day and will be cracking open a bottle of bubbly tonight. This was Joshua yesterday, he is feeling a lot better today and his stomach has settled thank goodness. He is eating and drinking rooibos tea with a little milk. Just need to keep a close eye on him to make sure we get him back to 100%.

Joshua started with a runny tummy again this afternoon just as I finished work. It got worse and at one point I was changing the baby and he ran off to use the potty, I could not follow like usual as I had Sebastian on the changing unit so had to finish him off. I heard Joshua fall and start crying, when I got there he had used the potty but must have not made it in time as there was poo everywhere in the bathroom and he had slipped on it and fallen on his way out. He was crying so I had to pick him up getting it all over myself and then Sebastian started crying as I had put him donw. Called T who was up in a minute to help me sort him out.

But I figured out how to get photoshop to automate the generation of my photos to the correct size etc, and I wrote all the entries into one file - and used that to import all the entries so in fact it was not a whole lot of work to get it done. It would have been a massive job had I to have done it withour the automation part. So please have a look and let me know what you think. I have not checked all the pages so there may be some errors in it and also there are some missing weeks as I was without a camera for a while when it broke back in 2002.

Just a quick note to say all is well and fine - just really busy at work for the past few and next few days and no time to blog. I will post some more pics and an update soon as I get a chance to catch my breath.

We had a sitter last night and got the chance to have a night out. Well we did not actually go to far, just donwstairs to the restaurant. I had invited all the full time chambermaids and the head housekeeper to bring their husbands for dinner and stay the night in the hotel. So T and I had dinner with them, drank far too much red wine, had a lovely dinner and loads of fun. It was a fantastic evening and they all had a great time. We met them this morning for breakfast.

I had invited all the full time chambermaids and the head housekeeper to bring their husbands for dinner and stay the night in the hotel. My latest project, which is still in the early stages can be viewed here. I have been working on this for a few days now and its far from done. I am experimenting with manipulating the Movable Type tags and entries and have created a Week to View timeline of Sebastian starting from his first birth photo and then a photo per week (or as close as I had available), I will of course do one for Joshua also but started with Sebastian as there was less input to do and I want to work with the actual code as much as possible. I am doing this as I will soon be doing the company website and am going to use MT as the base program for that. Step 1 is complete and I think its all working pretty well. Step 2 will be the styling of the page as its currently on the default MT Stylesheet. Step 3 duplicating it for Joshua Step 4 keeping it going - I think it will be interesting to watch as the weeks go by and also to look back on in the future. Whoever said having kids was easy? Its damn hard work especially when one of them is teething and the other one is potty training. Sebastian has been hard hard work for the last few days. Today I have resorted to carrying him around in the "Baby Bjorn" as this is the only way to keep him from his constant crying. I have to keep moving though or he gets upset so typing this is also a problem, not to mention that Timothy (the cat) has decided that my chair is his chair and the moment I stand up he jumps in so now I have half a chair, a baby strapped to my front and Joshua who needs to pee NOW!!! But I wouldn't have it any other way. Well maybe the cat could move elsewhere.
