My kettle has the annoying habit of dripping boiling hot water on my feet when I pour myself a cup of coffee. I has always done this and it hurts at 6am when I make the first cup of coffee and forget to move my feet. I have only recently noticed that when pouring cold water from it as I often do to fill the baby bottle it does not leak or spill a single drop.
