I had a busy day at work today and was donwstairs most of the day doing stuff - so I am afraid I have nothing much of interest to report. I am going to watch Frasier now and relax for a while then off to bed have to be back down there at 7am for the morning. One good thing is that we serve fruit salad for breakfast as of Saturday just gone so now I can eat something down there that is not fried or toasted.

Well we had our first day today that we both could work. We had a friend of Michelle come and baby sit. Michelle being the one manager who lives in the flat next to ours. Gail came at 12 and baby sat for us till 5, so I could attend the managers meeting for once and get some things done. So that is who you would have seen on the webcam. Next week she will be here on Tuesday as T and I are going on a first aid course. T was in the kitchen and will be every monday for some time now. He starts off doing the breakfast shift and then through lunch. He has to clean out the deep fat fryer in the morning and he forgot the stopper out and all the oil spilled out onto the floor when he was not looking and boy did he have a mess to clean up. I phoned Corrina in the morning and told her I wanted to go ride my bicycle and take Joshua on the back on one of those baby bike seats. Tarryn had said it was a bad idea and did not want me to get one. But Corrina told me that at LIEDL they were selling them real real cheap. LIEDL being the shop that sells baked beans for 6p or something silly like that. Anyway went off to LIEDL and low and behold they had one and it was cheap so I got it. Came home and attached it to the bike - got it right too after the third try. Tarryn took one look at it and says "ooooo that looks like fun Joshua is going to love that - can I take him on it now !!" And Joshua loved it - L O V E D I T !! He cried and cried when it was time to come in. I took Sebastian in the baby bjorn and Joshua and T were on the bike. More pics in photo album..

Our Webcam Found my code for the webcam program so it is fully installed now. So votes please. - is there any point to me keeping the webcam going at random times or should I put it back in the box?? And if you want it to stay online what is a good name for it?

I am back from Birmingham don't know who started the Manchester thing ???? but I was in Birmingham, well the conference was in Telford and we spent the first night there, but last night we stayed in Birmingham. It was good to be away from home, first time in years that I have spent a night away from home without my boys, and I did miss them. Michelle and I stayed in a competitor hotel last night as we could not get into one of ours as it was fully booked. The one we stayed in last night shall remain unnamed but it was not very good. They did not make up the sofa bed as we were sharing a room and when we asked them they said it was too bad and that there were no staff to do it and so we would have to do it ourselves, and then there was no bedding anyway. And the room was not very clean but we will not go into that. We went to see a movie last night after dinner. We had a really nice dinner and when I added the tip onto the bill I made a cockup and tipped the guy about 30% by mistake so he must have been laughing. The movie we say was "Along came Polly" with Jennifer Aniston and Ben stiller. It was not fantastic but a nice feel good movie. I have a mega mega huge sore blister right under my foot from walking to the hotel yesterday from the station, it was a little further than we thought so this morning we cought a cab as I could not walk that far again and I only had the one pair of shoes. To answer all questions from the previous comments. Webcam is only on when my PC is on so if you are going to check it in the early SA morning, there is 100% chance it will not be on as I will be asleep here, or if I am away from home it will of course also not be on. The best time to check is in my late morning till early evening, before or after that I will be in bed and will have put the PC off for the night, if its not on check back in an hour or so. The time I was talking about it not being accessed was on Mon 22nd when it was on from 9am UK time (11am SA time) till after midnight and there was not 1 access attempt to it in all this time. And that was 15 hours worth of the day. There was no error as I did check that the stats monitor was working. Anyway I cannot see the point in keeping it on anyway as T hates it. So if its on and you see it count it as a bonus!!!! I will keep putting it on at random times, however if it appears to be facing a wall that is because T has realised its on and turned it around in his usual protest againts his privacy being invaded LOL. SMS feature has been removed as I was testing it out and I had some credits on the internet to send SMS's, these have now run out and I do not want to buy anymore, sorry!! You can however still send me an SMS from your mobile *smiles*. PS - Tarryn was superdad looking after the kids and did a superjob.

We painted her flat last night and did not want to leave him in there with all the fumes so we instead brought him here to have to deal with 3 cats. So he is our Webcam subject today. Shanna and Andrew have taken Joshua out for a walk and I am going to have a look at doing some work on Charmaines website for her, she needs a few updates done. Joshua is really not eating well - it has gone from bad to worse. I have to now make sure when he is downstairs that no staff give him and chocolates or biscuits. As soon as they see him they give it to him and now that is all he will eat. He has had nothing today would not eat his oats and so has gone out hungry and hopefully when he gets back I can try to get him to eat it. 8 New Photos added to Album tonight. Well our visitors are gone, but it was great having them here and we cannot wait till the next ones arrive *nudge nudge*. On Saturday night T worked with the kitchen guys doing a deep clean and it took them all night and then he had to cook breakfast on his own as they were all too pooped and he gave them off. But it was not busy. T took strain though and is still pooped. I took Nuch and Michael for a drive on Sunday and we found a castle, it rained the whole way and there was still snow out there in parts that had not melted yet. It was very cold and we wanted to go for a walk from the castle car park to see that castle and put sleeping Joshua in the pram and Sbastian in his car seat. Joshua started crying shortly after we left the car park and it turned out that his dungarees had come open and the cold air was blowing up to his legs and nappy. Poor thing so we went back to the car and never saw the castle but it was a nice drive anyway and we will go again on a better day and I will of course take some pics too. I did not take any on Sunday as it was such an awfull day. After we got home the sun came out for a while can you believe that it happens when we get home.

In a bid to be Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional, I had to ditch all my hard work with the new look. Although it will return but in valid format. It would have just been too much work to try and make the design work in valid format as there was so much invalid about it that I have gone back to the default style that came installed with MT and used the other basic CSS style sheets with the addition of the styleswitcher.js script and you can now choose from a choice of the 7 basic styles that come bog standard with Movable Type. To do this click on the links under SKINNS. I will be changing the styles when I have time but will do be trying to keep to proper standards so this may take some time as I still need to learn a lot about them, but it appears to be the way to go so I will do my best. At the moment I am still having a problem with the screen resolution set to 800X600 (Cheryl time to change mmmmmmmmmmmm) as if using any of the styles where the scroll bar is on the RHS then it hops under the main entries. So will be working on that first.

In a bid to be Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional, I had to ditch all my hard work with the new look. Although it will return but in valid format. It would have just been too much work to try and make the design work in valid format as there was so much invalid about it that I have gone back to the default style that came installed with MT and used the other basic CSS style sheets with the addition of the styleswitcher.js script and you can now choose from a choice of the 7 basic styles that come bog standard with Movable Type. To do this click on the links under SKINNS.

Sebastian last week when it was snowing all wrapped up nice and warm in his snow suit that he got from Eva. Anita please give Eva the link to this site so she can have a look.

The other day I sent my mom and e-mail and used and emoticon at the end (sticking tongue out) - she sent a reply asking why I had ended the email so abruptly mid sentence. So here is a list for those of you who do not know what they are.

Today we have our first visitors arriving. Nuch, Michael and Nuch's Mom are coming up from London to spend the weekend. You see all you other Londoners it can be done. T is going to go and fetch them from the airport in a few minutes and they are here for 2 nights so it should be fun as I am off for 2 days purely chance. I think we will most likely have dinner in the restaurant tonight - so I am going to have to go easy on the points today so I can at least have something nice to eat tonight. Well everything in there is high in Weight Watchers points but some lesser so. This morning we had to clean up the flat which is in a state, nothing new there. ITs still in a state but at least most of it is done. We have endless washing clothes problems as there is only 1 machine and its down in housekeeping and they use it in the daytime to do the laundry so we can only use it at nightime and of course one of us has to be with the kids here so T usually ends up doing it during a shift and then forgetting it so we have piles of it building up. Joshua is getting back into the Teletubbies or NooNoo as he calls it which is good as Sebastian seems to like it aswell and that keeps him occupied for a short time. His vibrating chair seems to have broken, I think it may be from the weight of FatCat who sleeps in it at night when we are not around because he no longer is in a sitting position in it but lying down and he hates it - he wants to be sitting up. I remember Joshua at this stage bounced himself in it all day and loved it. Poor Sebastian just sits in it and cries as it will not bounce and he is in a horizontal position. Joshua is starting to say so many words now and will not let either T or myself leave the house without first giving him a goodbye kiss. If we try he runs after us and demands his kiss. His bike is still his favourite toy and T takes him out on it quite often if the weather allows. I will be posting some pics real soon I promise, I have taken them just need to find the time to get them ready and put them up on the web.

I have spent many hours - many many hours when I should have been sleeping - learning how to make this blog look better. Now this is my first attempt and I will be the first person to tell you that I am not a designer, my mind is technical but I have done my best. So I am trialing this look to see if I like it. I donwloaded some templates from BLOGFROCKS an amazing site that offers templates for use and used them as study aids to learn how to apply them. Then I used a photoshop brush from Another Brush Resource to help give the effect of the graphic which is a self portrait I took when I was living in Lambeth North. I hope you like it but as is my nature I am sure it will change again or at least be tweaked in the very near future. . Please post comments !!! I only ever seem to get them from a select few. T is on his way home - he is at the airport at the moment and his plane leaves in 10 minutes. He was most upset that he flew there in a plane that had propellers, although I tried to tell him that it was a Leerjet, but he just would not believe me, men always think they know better *winks at Corrina*. My day went fine had my meeting all day and Jamie was babysitting and all went fine with the kids. I think Sebastian is teething and will need to go to Boots to get some teething ointment when T gets home. Managed to clean the lounge and vacuum last night and then had to do it again this afternoon after my meeting. Still have a whole room full of clean clothes to pack away. Well right now I am doing just great - both kids are asleep for their afternoon nap. But let me tell you things have not been easy. We think Sebastian may be teething as he just cries and winges and moans a lot, but I have checked several times and cannot see any signs of it and when you pick him up he is okay so I think he just likes to be picked up, and that has been going on from birth. Last night I got them into bed rather late, and they woke up early so pretty tired right now. I managed to go downstairs and took Sebastian in the Baby Bjorn, and Joshua walking as I had a few things to do. The rest of the day I have been working upstairs doing paperwork that needs to be done on the Travel Inn. And later on Michelle will come up and we can finish it off. Its nice and warm today - well above 0 LOL but I did go for a short walk with the boys and they did not need hats so it was nice - there is a wee bit of snow left (notice my scottish accent) outside not a lot and that will melt by the end of today. Tarryn phoned at a rather tough time this morning when I had both kids screaming in chorus and he phoned 5 times and put the phone down. So when he finally got through I was mad and so we had a little tiff but now its all okay again. He says they have been cooking the whole of the new menu today and its good - he is looking forward to it but says its going to be a LOT of work to do. Tonight they have to taste the whole wine list. MAN I TELL you the things he has to do for work.

Got an email that it would be arriving today. We applied for broadband with Tiscali and they give a free modem and free intallation. Keep checking outside to see if a PArcel Force van is coming, but so far no luck. Its killing me I am on an off day so it would be perfect if it arrived today. And the line is activated so I could be on it now just need the bloody modem.
