Today has been a really hectic day for us. The removal van was due to come between 11 and 12 and they would phone us if they were running late. Our plan for the day was to pack up the kitchen and any odds and ends that we needed to and then we would be ready when they arrived. Problem is I woke up at 8:30 came downstairs and the doorbell goes - mmmmmmmm yes the removal van - whole family still in jammies and not ready for them. They had such huge scottish accents it was difficult to understand them and Tarryn tells me some of them from his visit were even worse. So its going to be really funny as you listen so hard to make out all the words you only hear the first half of the sentence and not the last half. But I found if you just nod and agree they are happy with that LOL.
So we stressed - packing up the kitchen and any odds and ends we could find and them doing the garage and all the boxes that were in the house - thank goodness the truck was empty as we forgot about the cat stand and exercise machine, we also had loads more boxes than we told them but we got it all in the truck no problem and they were off by 11.
Now just the big clean. Joshua found a ball point pen lying around and used it to draw on the wallpaper - I tried to clean if off and ended up rubbing a hole in the wallpaper, he also found the sudocreme and rubbed it into the carpet. Thing is with all the moving things tend to lay all over and so he has a field day of it.
Tigerlily is so stressed out with all the moving and disrupting of her world that she is shedding hair in big clumps and that is all over the carpet.
Sebastian is doing good - eating well - just still wants to be held most of the time and is not happy when left alone. He is rolling over from his tummy to his back when we put him on the floor. Have to watch him now. He is also grabbing his own feet and sujcking his shoes in addition to his shirt arm sleeve and anything else that comes near his mouth.
We found Joshua's Noddy plane under the bed when packing - it has been missing for about 3 months - and he has been carrying it around for a full 48 hours now - took it on a bike ride and would not let go - its been for a bath - and everywhere else with him - and he has a fit and screams if you try to take it away from him.
He was most upset tonight when we had dinner as his highchair was gone and he wanted to sit in it - thank goodness we did not pack the doughnut in aswell.
