Yup it's still snowing, on and off, a lot of it has melted with the sun and falls off the roof in big big clumps and onto the cars - hope it has not dented our car. Tarryn even went for his first snowboard yesterday on the other side of the river. There is quite a steep embankment there and he quite fancies himself the snowboarder. He says he did quite well and that was due to his surfing days. He is going again tomorrow, going to drive up somewhere with some guys that come into the pub and go snowboarding there.


Sebastian's foot is looking much better, the red mark is almost gone.


I was feeling really ill today - I was working and just started to feel ill so had to come lay down for a while, T had to go work and Joshua was napping so he got Michelle (who owns the hamster) to look after the baby for a while, she lives in the flat next door. So that was great as I was asleep and had been throwing up, but I am feeling fine again so not sure what it was. Joshua went and played with the hamster again a little later on - he still calls it a mouse

OK did anyone actually look at the snow pics or only the thumbnails???? As it says no views on some of them and the others only 1 view and I know it was me that looked at those. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Still snowing here and forecast to go on till Monday.

There was loads and loads of snow today and it is still snowing now - think its still due to snow till Sunday accornding to the 10 day forcast. It was sunny for a bit so we went for a walk outside and Tarryn pulled Joshua on the sled, but he is a little too young still as I told T but he did not believe me till afterwards. Joshua had fun most of the time anyway but will not wear gloves he hates them and of course when he toppled over his hands went in the snow and it was sooooo cold he cried.

Yesterday when T went downstairs I heard the door to the one room slam, and it was the one with no handle so if it slams you are locked inside - I had very cleverly put the handle to unlock yourself on the inside of the room as I did get locked in last week and so thought should it happen again it was a way out. Anyway Johsua was inside with the handle and freaking out (and I do mean really freaking out) and I was on the outside with no way of helping him. I ran down to find Tarryn who came up and panicked more than I did, in the mean time I found a large screwdriver and used it to open the latch and got Joshua out. Then about 1/2 an hour later was making myself toast and burnt it and it set off the fire alarm, now it goes off in the pub, restaurant and hotel not only the flat. So T came running up and there I was standing with baby and burnt toast LOL. Thank goodness it was only a mishap.
T and I had the night off together last night and he fell asleep early when he put Joshua to bed so I just left him there. I worked on a report till midnight and had to wake up at 6 for the morning shift and paper work - when I delivered the baby to Tarryn at 6 he says "OH forgot to tell you that you only have to be there at 8 on the weekends !!" I could have killed him as I could have had another hours sleep. UUUugggggghhhhhh was mad.
Then he was here with the kids from then till about 1 when I came up and he went down. He was over the moon to be going to work and have a rest he said as it had been a hectic morning with the kids, who are now both asleep having a nap - ssshhhhhhhh lest we wake them.
The sky man came and now we have TV again - goodbye "Baba Dog".
Otherwise all else is going well. For those who know Angela & Femi they had a baby girl Semowo Website - blog and pics at this site.

He woke me up at 5 am third morning running and I am totally bushed, fell asleep again when I had to wake up so I put him in bed with T and they woke up after 8.
Sebastian has started this new head shake - he lies there and shakes his head from side to side over and over and over again, so if he is not winging he is doing the head shake till the point that you are awake and cannot go back to sleep. I hope he reads this in years to come and brings me coffee in bed to make up for it LOL.
The playschool for Joshua is fully booked so we cannot get him in till August, mmmmmm not good at all. So now don't know what we are going to do as he cannot go to school till January.
Took him to see Smudge again so that he does not get scared of him and all day long he still needs the sore finger kissed where Smudge bit him.
Carried Sebastian on my back tonight for a while so that I could get some stuff done as he was complaining again. He then fell asleep and I could not get him off my back so had to wait for Tarryn to come upstairs for a visit so he could help me to get him off.
Well I am on at 7 again in the morning so better go get some sleep.

Everything is going along fine. Settling into the new flat, cats are fine just a real pity they are indoor cats again. In the summer we are going to see about making a plan for them to get into the garden but its a far way down so we cannot just open the window, something will have to be designed that will allow them easy access into and out of the window, mmmmmm not sure how yet but still working on that one. They are happy indoors anyway they never spent hours outside in Farnborough anyway just a run in the morning and then came inside for most of the day.
The boys are doing great, Joshua is sleeping in his own room now and Sebastian in the crib next to my bed. Tarryn floats between rooms, if Joshua wakes up then he goes and sleeps in there.
Joshua is totally still hooked on his "Baba Dog" and we have now seen it about 300 times in total and still counting.
Sebastian hates being alone and winges a lot - A LOTTTT. Drives me insane. Last night when I put Joshua to bed Sebastian fell asleep in the bed also so I left him there and the two of them slept together for a few hours, Joshua ended up with his feet on Sebastians chest. I moved Sebastian over to his crib when I went to bed. Joshua also allows Sebastian to use his doughnut and plonkie donkey without fuss.
Joshua is speaking a lot now. When he gets really excited the words pour from his mouth, of course only he knows what he is saying then. We understand most of it and it amazes us sometimes what he comes up with.

Just took Joshua to see Smudge the hamster and when T took it out the cage it htssed at him and so he put it straight back and Joshua stuck his finger in and it bit him. Aggggg shame he screamed and it bled and I have to keep on kissing it better for him. Poor baby,

We now have a phone at last and so I can spend some time on the internet. We are using an AOL trial at the moment, going against my better judgement as I hate AOL software that screwed up my PC last time, but this time so far so good. Not posting the phone number here for obvious reasons email me for it if you want it.

Well its been raining all day today - softly - so its rather miserable and grey outside. We went to look for a school today and drove around, the first one we saw I sent Tarryn into and he came out giggling - apparantly it was a school for bad boys (lol Tempy Tigers). We found another one that was quite nice and we have to fill in a form and drop it off to go on the waiting list but he can only go there from 3 years old so we will have to wait till then but he will get to wear a uniform and all. Still want to find somethng to send him to or go with him to for now so e=he can get to interact with other kids too. There is a playgroup at the church hall but it was not on today so we will go next week again and find out about that.

I gave Joshua a haircut tday - first one that he has been awake for - its ok but still needs some final touches that I will have to do tonight when he has fallen asleep as he got annoyed and ran away after a while.

Sebastian is doing really well on the solids - we have only given him the breakfast porridge one at the moment - tried prune (for obvious reasons) but am going to stick to porridge in the morning and veggies at night - he will get his first pot of veggies tonight. I have made a large pot of veggie soup so blend it and give him some of that tonight, mmmmm or maybe not if its too spicey - still need to test it. He also had his first Farley rusk today that he loved and munched about 1/4 of it. But he does not like to drink water or baby juice and then he is thirsty and cries and will only drink milk - but I am going to keep on trying to give him water even if he only takes a bit - I have to squirt it into his mouth as he will not suck on the teat of the bottle.

Today we got stuck into some unpacking and sorting. I wanted to get the boys room sorted out so Joshua can start sleeping in there. Problem is we are using his bed iin the lounge for seating. So we started unpacking and sorting boxes only unpakcing what we need for right now and the rest into the cat/storage room. We have put the shelving from Wimbledon in there and have had to use that for all cloathes for all of us as there are no wardrobes. And we still have one clothes rail as the screws for the other one are missing in action. We got it all done, took most of the day. Also stuck Joshua's glow in the dark stars on the wall - a nice dark blue wall so they look fantastic. I will hang his mirror ball too when I get some time and a spot light to shine on it. We have given him a double bed in there with our mattress on it and both his bed rails so hopefully he will not fall off as on a double bed he does a full circle and rolls all over.

Still a lot of unpacking to do but at least we can do that as we feel we have time - we are organised now.

Really missing the sky channels - its the start of 24 tonight and we are getting one of the other people who stay here to tape it for us as we really do not want to miss it LOL.

The vet was not as tactfull as the last vet who said "He is a bit on the portly side" this vet just said "Cor Blimey he is FAT!"

Well 2 for Tarryn and 3 for the rest of us. He will be driving up on Sunday - I think he wants to leave early in the day to drive through in the day time. Joshua is very at home now in the pub and does not head straight for the door anymore so you do not have to follow him around. Still have to watch him all the time but its not so hectic as before. He heads straight behind the bar whenever he gets there as he knows where the chips are stored and helps himself to a packet of them.
Then we came home and cleaned the downstairs - the kitchen and other areas were packed so quickly when the removal van came that when I checked I filled 2 boxes with things that T had forgotten to take with. So that has to go up in the car and its not stuff we can leave behind its stuff he left out to begin with because we use it often.

Yesterday we went to visit Anita, trying to get as many visits in as we can before we leave. Problem is I woke up at 8:30 came downstairs and the doorbell goes - mmmmmmmm yes the removal van - whole family still in jammies and not ready for them. They had such huge scottish accents it was difficult to understand them and Tarryn tells me some of them from his visit were even worse. So its going to be really funny as you listen so hard to make out all the words you only hear the first half of the sentence and not the last half. But I found if you just nod and agree they are happy with that LOL.

Sebastian has gone from one extreme to the next - he is now demanding food more often and taking about 5 to 7oz so he is really going through a qrowth spurt.

Today we need to do some serious packing of the house - we only have 48 hours left untill they come with the van to collect the stuff. But we will be ready. Then we have to live in the house with all that is left untill we leave.
Tarryn will drive up with the cats on Sunday night as they deliver the stuff to the new place on the monday and he needs to be there to get it all sorted. I wish I could fly on the Monday morning but I have no way of getting to the airport as Anita has to work on the Monday and can only take me the next day so I will fly out on the Tuesday at some point, I stinll need to book the ticket for the flight so that is not confirmed yet.
Sebastian is eating really well now on the new milk - stange little thing - and had 6oz this morning and only woke at 5:30 in the night so not at 3 ish so that was nice - had a full 5 hours of sleep before he woke me up.
Tarryn is reading a Clive Cussler book and is lost in it except for every few minutes that Joshua demands his attention in some way or another - but I am going to kick his ass into gear at 10 to get him going. The time on this posts it 1 hour too late - mmmmmmmmmm need to see how to fix that.
Carol gave us her old CD player on the weekend and Joshua was over the moon and demanding the volume on max and dancing around the lounge like a mad child.

Everyone has gone out for late breakfast early lunch - I decided not to go because of the diet - they are going to an EAT AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE chinese buffet. I am sooooooooooo hungry I would have made a huge dent in that buffet.
I did have my first cup of regular caffiene coffee yesterday since having given up the breastfeeding !!!

They all drank whiskey which I hate so they all have mega hangovers this morning and are dead tired as we sat chatting till about 4am. Joshua woke Tarryn up at 6 to come downstairs so he is taking the most strain.
Sebastian is doing better - drinking more milk now - but we tried the ready mixed one and he seems to like that better, I think its probably sweeter from the UHT process it must go through.
We are still not ready for the removal vans on Wednesday and nothing will get done today so we will have Monday & Tuesday to pack up the last of the stuff and get it ready for the van when it arrives. I still need to book my airticket to get there with the kids. We will have to phone Elaine and get that sorted out tomorrow.
