It was terribly cold and nearly dark on the last evening of the old year, and the snow was falling fast. In the cold and the darkness, a poor little girl, with bare head and naked feet, roamed through the streets. It is true she had on a pair of slippers when she left home, but they were not of much use.
OK did anyone actually look at the snow pics or only the thumbnails???? As it says no views on some of them and the others only 1 view and I know it was me that looked at those. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Still snowing here and forecast to go on till Monday.
There was loads and loads of snow today and it is still snowing now - think its still due to snow till Sunday accornding to the 10 day forcast. It was sunny for a bit so we went for a walk outside and Tarryn pulled Joshua on the sled, but he is a little too young still as I told T but he did not believe me till afterwards. Joshua had fun most of the time anyway but will not wear gloves he hates them and of course when he toppled over his hands went in the snow and it was sooooo cold he cried.
Today I was learing house keeping. Spent the morning making beds amd cleaning loo's.
T phoned half way through to say the roof was leaking. A pipe had broken and the water was dripping through. He was feeding the baby and heard it then when he finished feeding the baby went to see and found Joshua under and on light with water dripping through it and standing with his arms held high going "MESS MESS".

Had a busy busy day at work. Although I do not want to write about work related things here at all so lets just say it was busy !!
So not much else happened LOL - Tarryn had a busy day with the kids, and now he is downstairs working and I am doing the kids. Just got Joshua off too sleep and the baby is still awake. He woke me up at 5 am third morning running and I am totally bushed, fell asleep again when I had to wake up so I put him in bed with T and they woke up after 8.
Sebastian has started this new head shake - he lies there and shakes his head from side to side over and over and over again, so if he is not winging he is doing the head shake till the point that you are awake and cannot go back to sleep. I hope he reads this in years to come and brings me coffee in bed to make up for it LOL.
The playschool for Joshua is fully booked so we cannot get him in till August, mmmmmm not good at all. So now don't know what we are going to do as he cannot go to school till January.
Took him to see Smudge again so that he does not get scared of him and all day long he still needs the sore finger kissed where Smudge bit him.
Carried Sebastian on my back tonight for a while so that I could get some stuff done as he was complaining again. He then fell asleep and I could not get him off my back so had to wait for Tarryn to come upstairs for a visit so he could help me to get him off.
Well I am on at 7 again in the morning so better go get some sleep.
Our phones don't work at home so we had to take a walk up the road so we could phone Anita for her birthday. mmmmmmmmmmm and all those free minutes we could be using. Will have to phone the network and get it sorted out. Took a walk up the river too today and its a very fast flowing river. The little ducks wizzing by as they flow down with it. Scary. But it was a nice walk and in summer it is going to be amazing. Will have to take some pics.

We start work tomorrow officially mmmmmmmmmm must go do some ironing LOL or I will have nothing to wear.
Well its been raining all day today - softly - so its rather miserable and grey outside. We went to look for a school today and drove around, the first one we saw I sent Tarryn into and he came out giggling - apparantly it was a school for bad boys (lol Tempy Tigers). We found another one that was quite nice and we have to fill in a form and drop it off to go on the waiting list but he can only go there from 3 years old so we will have to wait till then but he will get to wear a uniform and all. Still want to find somethng to send him to or go with him to for now so e=he can get to interact with other kids too. There is a playgroup at the church hall but it was not on today so we will go next week again and find out about that.
I gave Joshua a haircut tday - first one that he has been awake for - its ok but still needs some final touches that I will have to do tonight when he has fallen asleep as he got annoyed and ran away after a while.
Sebastian is doing really well on the solids - we have only given him the breakfast porridge one at the moment - tried prune (for obvious reasons) but am going to stick to porridge in the morning and veggies at night - he will get his first pot of veggies tonight. I have made a large pot of veggie soup so blend it and give him some of that tonight, mmmmm or maybe not if its too spicey - still need to test it. He also had his first Farley rusk today that he loved and munched about 1/4 of it. But he does not like to drink water or baby juice and then he is thirsty and cries and will only drink milk - but I am going to keep on trying to give him water even if he only takes a bit - I have to squirt it into his mouth as he will not suck on the teat of the bottle.

Well been here since yesterday and still unpacking unpacking unpacking. The cats have settled in - but cannot go outside yet. I left the window open for them and Timmy went out and then jumped down and it's a far way and then could not get back upstairs and someone came and told us he was out. Tigerlily is happy again I think now that she has familier things around her.
Joshua and Sebastain are happy here too. Sebastian ate his first baby food today, a whole bottle of "Creamy Rice Porridge" so now he will be on the road to solids full time. He loved it but is not too used to the swallowing action yet so I had to leave the spoon in for him to suck on like a bottle and then he ate fine, I started off with half a bottle and then ended up giving him the whole thing.
Joshua loved the flight and was in awe of all the planes while waiting to board and was just saying "PLANE PLANE PLANE PLANE PLANE PLANE !!! " and then we had to board and he threw a hissy fit as he did not want to leave the windows so I had to eventually pick him up and pop him under my arm kicking and screaming - then Sebastain started crying for food and I could see all the other passengers cringing that this lot was going to be on the plane with them.
Well 2 for Tarryn and 3 for the rest of us. He will be driving up on Sunday - I think he wants to leave early in the day to drive through in the day time. There is not going to be very good weather though and there is snow forcast on Sunday ( check on the 10 day forcast on the RHS here ) so he is not looking forward to it. He is also driving on his own with the cats and I just hope he drives very carefully.
We took the cats to the vet today and they have got some pills to take on the journey - cat valium - I tried to con one off Tarryn but he thought I was crazy LOL - they were weighed and Tigerlily and Timmy have to take half a tablet and FatCat the other half because of his excess weight *giggles* poor thing. The vet was not as tactfull as the last vet who said "He is a bit on the portly side" this vet just said "Cor Blimey he is FAT!"
Yesterday we went to visit Anita, trying to get as many visits in as we can before we leave. Joshua is very at home now in the pub and does not head straight for the door anymore so you do not have to follow him around. Still have to watch him all the time but its not so hectic as before. He heads straight behind the bar whenever he gets there as he knows where the chips are stored and helps himself to a packet of them.
Then we came home and cleaned the downstairs - the kitchen and other areas were packed so quickly when the removal van came that when I checked I filled 2 boxes with things that T had forgotten to take with. So that has to go up in the car and its not stuff we can leave behind its stuff he left out to begin with because we use it often.
Today has been a really hectic day for us. The removal van was due to come between 11 and 12 and they would phone us if they were running late. Our plan for the day was to pack up the kitchen and any odds and ends that we needed to and then we would be ready when they arrived. Problem is I woke up at 8:30 came downstairs and the doorbell goes - mmmmmmmm yes the removal van - whole family still in jammies and not ready for them. They had such huge scottish accents it was difficult to understand them and Tarryn tells me some of them from his visit were even worse. So its going to be really funny as you listen so hard to make out all the words you only hear the first half of the sentence and not the last half. But I found if you just nod and agree they are happy with that LOL.
Today we need to do some serious packing of the house - we only have 48 hours left untill they come with the van to collect the stuff. But we will be ready. Then we have to live in the house with all that is left untill we leave.
Tarryn will drive up with the cats on Sunday night as they deliver the stuff to the new place on the monday and he needs to be there to get it all sorted. I wish I could fly on the Monday morning but I have no way of getting to the airport as Anita has to work on the Monday and can only take me the next day so I will fly out on the Tuesday at some point, I stinll need to book the ticket for the flight so that is not confirmed yet.
Sebastian is eating really well now on the new milk - stange little thing - and had 6oz this morning and only woke at 5:30 in the night so not at 3 ish so that was nice - had a full 5 hours of sleep before he woke me up.
Tarryn is reading a Clive Cussler book and is lost in it except for every few minutes that Joshua demands his attention in some way or another - but I am going to kick his ass into gear at 10 to get him going. The time on this posts it 1 hour too late - mmmmmmmmmm need to see how to fix that.
Carol gave us her old CD player on the weekend and Joshua was over the moon and demanding the volume on max and dancing around the lounge like a mad child.

Everyone has gone out for late breakfast early lunch - I decided not to go because of the diet - they are going to an EAT AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE chinese buffet. I am sooooooooooo hungry I would have made a huge dent in that buffet.
I did have my first cup of regular caffiene coffee yesterday since having given up the breastfeeding !!!
